Responsibilities
Act as a key ambassador for the business
Treat every Patient with Empathy, Courtesy and respect in a dignified way.
Treat every Patient as an individual using only the most appropriate methods and technology
Carry out eye examinations to Patients with a range of different needs who are unable to attend a high street practice.
Offer help and advice to Patients and Carers with regard to eye health, spectacles required, and frame and lens choice.
Ensure record cards, GOS paperwork and referrals are completed accurately and legibly.
Carry out a handover with patients, care home manager and/or family members to discuss the examination results and any recommendations.
Actively participate in team meetings to look for areas of improvement and receive feedback.
Qualifications
GOC registration
Minimum one year post qualified experience
Able to demonstrate strong clinical practice
Excellent communications skills both Verbal and Non-Verbal
Sensitivity towards others
Calm and composed temperament
Adaptable
Innovative and looking to continuously improve
Strong team player with a supportive natur
